Wakayama World Heritage Center
This center is a great place to familiarize yourself with the “Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii-Mountain Range" World Heritage Site. There are displays concerning the area as well as a panoramic map of the entire Kii peninsula highlighting the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage routes. A study area features a library, a video display of the world heritage site (available in English), replicas of famous mandalas and a computer terminal for internet use.
